The beta

The beta is how Brickworks finds 100 people to use it for real and tell us honestly how it goes. Each tester gets 30 days of Pro, free: no card, nothing to pay and nothing to cancel.

What testers get

30 days of Pro on your account:

• every model kept with your account, without a limit (Free keeps 25);
• commercial use: for the month, sell what you make with Brickworks (instructions, kits, renders or builds made to order) under Pro's terms.

The desktop app is free to everyone, with Pro or without (Plans). Your AI is your own on every plan: your Claude through the connector or Claude Code, or an Anthropic API key, in any browser; in the desktop app, your own key for OpenAI, Gemini and others too. Brickworks never counts it.

The month starts the day you are approved, or the day Pro launches if that is later. You get an email when it starts, and another three days before it ends.

What we ask

Use Brickworks for real, on things you want to build, and tell us honestly what works and what does not: Send feedback in the app's Brickworks menu or the site's footer, whenever something is wrong or you have an idea. As a tester you also have the beta hub, with what is new to try and what we know is wrong.

Applying

1. Open /beta and sign in with your email. Signing in makes your account if you have none.
2. Say what you would build, which AI you use (Claude, ChatGPT, your own key, or not sure), your LEGO® or CAD background, and a link to your work if you like (Rebrickable, BrickLink, Flickr, GitHub or a portfolio).
3. Agree to the beta's terms and to emails about the beta, then Apply.

One application an account. We read each one ourselves, and email you when we have decided. The page shows where yours stands: applied, on the waitlist, approved with your spot, or not this time.

The page counts the spots left as they go. Once all 100 are taken, applying puts you on the waitlist, which is read first if more spots open.

When the month ends

You are back on Free. Nothing is charged, no card is asked for, and nothing is deleted. Above 25 models kept with your account, you keep every one of them and can open, change and save them all, but you add no new ones until you are under 25.

An account from before 29 October 2026

It has Pro already, free and with no end date (Plans and billing). You can still join as a tester; you will not take one of the 100 spots.

If you are not chosen

We email you, and you can apply again 30 days later.

Your application

What you send is kept with your account, read only by the site's owner, and deleted with your account. An application we decline is erased 90 days after. No IP address is kept. Privacy says what is kept and why.
