Your account
An account is your email address. You sign in with a code we email you; there is no password, so whoever reads your inbox can sign in as you. Keep it to yourself. One person, one account.
Your age
At your first sign-in you are asked when you were born. Brickworks keeps only whether you are 13 or over, and when you said so, never the date. Under 13, you can build, keep your models and share them by link like anyone. The gallery, a public profile, a name shown on a link, and comments and photos when they come, are for people 13 and over.
Your models
What you build is yours. It is saved in your browser or on your computer, not on our server, until you publish it. When you do, you choose a licence for it (the three are here): that says what others may do with it, and you keep the copyright.
Publishing lets Brickworks keep a copy, show it at its link and, if you list it, in the gallery; make its pictures, steps, booklet and parts list; and let others open a copy in their own Brickworks as its licence allows. Unpublish takes the copy down. Publish only what you have the right to share.
The rules
What you publish keeps to the community guidelines: credit, no copied designs passed off as yours, no photos of children, designs made with the AI designer or Brickify said to be so, and the rest. Publishing means you agree to them. They also say what gets a model or an account taken out.
Something here is yours
Use the Report button on its page, or a takedown request. The same page says how to answer one, if your model was taken out and you think that was a mistake.
The AI designer
It runs on your own AI: your Claude plan, or your own API key for Claude or another AI, never on ours, so its maker’s terms apply to what you send it, and Brickworks never limits it or bills for it. What it designs is yours to use like anything you build here.
Paid plans, when they open
Brickworks has a Free plan, and a paid plan, Pro, is coming. Nothing is sold yet, and nothing here takes money. What each plan includes, and what Pro costs in US dollars, is on the plans page, and will be on your account page before you buy. AI is never limited, on any plan: it runs on your own AI plan or key. Once Pro opens, Free keeps up to 25 models with your account and Pro any number; saving to your device and exporting are never limited, and every account made before 29 October 2026 keeps Pro, free and with no end date. Don’t get around a plan’s limits with several free accounts.
Pro will be sold by Atypic through Link: Sold through Link, LLC, an affiliate of Stripe, is the merchant of record. Link takes the payment, works out any sales tax, VAT or GST and shows it before you pay, and emails your receipts. Buying Pro also means Atypic’s terms of service and Link’s terms. Pro is billed monthly or yearly, as you choose, and renews automatically at the same price until you cancel. If the price ever changes, you will be told by email before it applies to you, and can cancel before then.
You can cancel at any time, from your account page or at link.com. Pro stays on to the end of the month or year you have paid for, and then your account moves to Free. How cancelling and refunds work is in Atypic’s refund and cancellation policy; Link may also refund within 60 days of a purchase under its own policy.
The beta
While the beta is open, a signed-in account may apply once to be a tester. We read every application ourselves and choose whom to approve; nothing is decided by a machine, and an application may be declined without a reason. A declined account may apply again 30 days later. Don’t apply from several accounts.
The first 100 accounts we approve each get 30 days of Pro, given to the account once, from the day it is approved, or from the day Pro launches if that is later. It is not a subscription: nothing renews, nothing is charged, no card is asked for, and it cannot be moved to another account or exchanged for money. When the 30 days end the account is back on Free and nothing is deleted. An account with more than 25 models kept then keeps every one of them and can open, change and save them, but keeps no new ones until it has fewer than 25. An account made before 29 October 2026 has Pro already, with no end date: it may join as a tester, and takes none of the 100.
We ask testers to use Brickworks for real and to tell us honestly how it goes, when we ask by email; nothing more is owed. We may change the beta, widen it or end it early, which ends no month already given.
No promises we cannot keep
Brickworks is offered as it is. We work to keep it running and what you share safe, but we cannot promise it never breaks or loses something: keep your own copy of anything that matters (File › Save). We may change, pause or end any part of the site, and take out of it what breaks these terms.

Notices
Models in the gallery are made and shared by the people credited, or by someone who chose not to be; Brickworks does not check them before they are listed. Something that should not be there? Press Report on its page, or see takedown requests.
