Download Brickworks
The same builder as the web app, with every part on disk, so it works offline.
The desktop app is for a computer. Here, open the web app: it is the same builder, with nothing to install.
There is no desktop build for this computer yet. The web app is the same builder, with nothing to install.
Free, like the web app, for personal and educational use; selling what you make comes with Pro. Every version you download keeps working.
The first desktop release is on its way. Until then, open the web app.
The list of downloads did not load. Every release is on GitHub.
First launch
- Open the zip and drag Brickworks into Applications.
- Open it. macOS says it cannot check it for malicious software: choose Done.
- Open System Settings, then Privacy & Security. Under Security, choose Open Anyway beside Brickworks, then Open.
macOS asks because Apple has not notarised this build yet. It asks only the first time.
If it says the app is damaged, that is the download's quarantine flag, not damage. Verify the download, then in Terminal:
xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/Brickworks.app- Right-click the zip and choose Extract All. It will not run from inside the zip.
- Open the folder and run Brickworks.exe.
- If Windows says Windows protected your PC, choose More info, then Run anyway. It asks only the first time, because this build is not signed yet.
In your file manager, open the AppImage's Properties and allow it to run as a program. Then double-click it. Or in a terminal:
chmod +x Brickworks-*.AppImage && ./Brickworks-*.AppImageWill not start? Your system may lack FUSE. Get the .tar.xz instead, and run it from where it unpacks:
tar -xf Brickworks-*.tar.xz && ./Brickworks-*/brickworks.x86_64Verify the download
Every file's SHA-256 is in SHA256SUMS on the release on GitHub.
